A reference database of whether Japanese companies and agencies (delivery, banks, credit cards, mobile carriers, government) send SMS, and what their official senders (numbers and display names) are — compiled only from information we verified on each organization's official warning/FAQ pages. Every entry lists its sources (links to official pages) and the verification date.

How to use this list correctly (disclaimer)

  • A sender not on this list is NOT necessarily a scam. Companies may add or change senders without notice, and legitimate SMS may arrive from numbers or names that are not officially published.
  • Conversely, a message showing a listed name or number is NOT necessarily genuine: SMS sender displays can be spoofed. The safest approach is to avoid links in the message and check directly via the official app or a bookmarked official website.

Delivery & Postal

Mobile Carriers
